Pepe Medical Report
Real Madrid C.F.’s player, Képler Laveran Lima Ferreira, "Pepe", was admitted to the Hospital Universitario La Paz last night in a confused and agitated state following a head injury. He was given anaesthetic and a CT scan was performed and there were no significant findings. The patient has remained stable and with a good level of awareness. The match scheduled for match week 3 that will see Real Madrid take on Granada at the Bernabéu will be held on Sunday 2nd September 19:50. The Professional Football League (LFP) has confirmed that the kick off will be brought forward from the originally planned start time which was scheduled for 22:00.

This Wednesday Real Madrid and Yamaha have presented in Bangkok a new sponsorship agreement by which the Japanese firm becomes the club's official sponsor in Thailand for the next two years. Present at the event were Emilio Butragueño, director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid, the top management of Yamaha in Thailand and Ignacio Sagaz, Spain's ambassador in Bangkok.

Coach José Mourinho organised a session in which ball work and fitness work featured equally as they prepared for the clash in a session which included academy players Fabinho and Nacho..
Real Madrid completed the last session before playing Barcelona in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup. José Mourinho divided his players into two groups on the field at Valdebebas. One group contained the outfield players and the other had the goalkeepers.
Ramos, Varane, Albiol, Arbeloa, Coentrão, Marcelo, Lass, Xabi Alonso, Khedira, Sahin, Granero, Kaká, Özil, Callejón, Di María, Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuaín, Morata, Nacho and Fabinho were the 21 outfield players with Mourinho. To begin with they performed stretching and muscle strengthening exercises under the direction of assistant coach Rui Faria and later went on to work with the ball. Casillas, Adán and Jesús worked on specifics with goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro.
